Dedicated to the performance of 18th-century chamber music, El Gabinete de Música takes its name from the "room or chamber in palaces or houses" - according to the first Spanish dictionaries - where musical evenings or academias took place.

Composed of three former classmates from the Schola Cantorum in Basel, El Gabinete de Música has performed in Spain, Switzerland, and The Netherlands.
